The special high-Performance Cotton Natural Paper Wick wick by São Vitor is an innovative product manufactured with cellulose-based cotton and special rigid paper core to meet the challenging demands of today’s complex candle formulations. While it exhibits all of the positive characteristics of other wicks, due to the proprietary materials used in its construction, the Cotton Natural Paper Wick (HP-CNP) is classified as a round-cored wick. Due to the capillary action, HP-CNP wicks maintain greater burn stability from beginning to end.

Glossary of Terms

Yield

Measured in yards of wick per pound in weight. The higher the yield, the smaller the wick and the flame and the resulting heat generated.

ROC

The rate of wax consumption in ounces by the wick in one hour. The higher the burn rate the more wax which is being consumed. Used to determine how well a wick and wax combination is performing.
