Wood Wick Clips

Wicks Unlimited wood wick clips safely maintain the candle’s flame ⅜” above the bottom to prevent overheating. All of our sustainers, including wood wick clips, are manufactured from .010″ (0.254 mm) thick tin-coated steel that helps inhibit corrosion and are preferred by leading candle manufacturers worldwide. Wood wick clips feature a flat base with a diameter of 12.0 mm for easy gluing during production runs. With an overall height of 12.7 mm and a hole diameter of 9.9 mm, this innovative design enables it to hold single or double wood wicks depending on the candle’s configuration.

Glossary of Terms

Yield

Measured in yards of wick per pound in weight. The higher the yield, the smaller the wick and the flame and the resulting heat generated.

ROC

The rate of wax consumption in ounces by the wick in one hour. The higher the burn rate the more wax which is being consumed. Used to determine how well a wick and wax combination is performing.
