Zinc Core Wick
Constructed with an inner zinc core and a lead-free, cotton braid, the Zinc Core Wick by São Vitor maximizes rigidity in the molten wax pool. São Vitor zinc core wicks feature a braided cotton jacket for more efficient capillary action.
Cotton Core Wick
The São Vitor cotton wick is a cored candlewick, braided with long strand washed cotton. It exhibits a slightly curled flame profile in combustion, thereby minimizing carbon buildup while still creating a concentric burn pool with the candle’s circumference. This wick’s tight braiding helps to achieve precise and consistent metering of the liquid wax regardless of the changing temperatures and viscosities commonly found in container candles. The WU Cotton series can be used in almost all candle applications and formulations where a concentric burn pool is desired.
