10.0 mm Safety Neck Sustainers

Wicks Unlimited manufactures and supplies 10.0 mm safety neck candle sustainers with increased neck height. This unique feature enables candle manufacturers to create tabbed wicks from waxed wick on reels. Since safety neck sustainers feature an extended neck height, the candle’s flame is snuffed out earlier during the combustion process. The extended neck height reduces the chance of the candle’s container getting hot, especially near its end of life.

The overall neck height for this safety neck sustainer is 10.0 mm and is available with base diameter(s) of either 15.0 mm or 20.0 mm. Candle manufacturers can select two crimping options for production runs: puncture and non-puncture. Wicks Unlimited’s best-selling metal candle sustainers with puncture crimping enable manufacturers to develop candles that consume all the fuel (wax) at the end of life. Alternatively, sustainers with non-puncture crimping will extinguish the flame as soon as it reaches the top of the neck and leaves unconsumed wax at the end of life. All of Wicks Unlimited’s safety neck candle sustainers are manufactured from the highest quality .010″ (0.254 mm) thick tin-coated steel that helps inhibit corrosion caused by fragrance and essential oils and are preferred by candle manufacturers worldwide.
